"Hot Spot Besties". Some friends and I went to our favorite local brewery in Houston and saw a "Hot Spot" sign. We weren't on the app at this point but when it said "download to meet others here/now", we were all about it. We downloaded the app, checked in to the venue in the flame icon, and continued on about our evening. While playing cornhole, this girl who was new to town came up to us to join our group because she saw us in the app. This was such a cool experience because typically a group of girls would be intimidating for someone solo. This app is wildly helpful for mental wellness easing social anxieties. This was awesome and she's now part of our little girl-squad.
"The Drive By" - I hate when I see someone attractive in traffic but can't talk to them. There's literally no way to connect. So I downloaded my QR code from my profile and printed it large on an 8x10 piece of paper. I tested it and it worked about 40 feet away, so I kept it in the car "in case". I saw a hottie in traffic and "shot my shot". I gave her a smile, raised the sign, she clicked, and we moved forward from there. Never in a million years would I have thought of something so innovative!
"QR Cutie" - At a Bluegrass Festival I noticed an attractive girl wearing a shirt with a QR code on the back. Out of curiosity I scanned it from a distance with my phone. It linked me to HER DATING PROFILE! Holy hell! Who knew this was even possible. She's more beautiful in person than online, thankful for the possibilities.
“Lost boy” - I was riding my bike! Saw the girl - and waved her to stop. I said I was lost (I wasn't) but before I left I gave her a QR card. This pic was from our second meeting. But same bikes and path.
“Skip The Line” - I asked if I could cut her in line at the coffee shop because “I was in a rush”. She said yes. I paid for her coffee, then gave my QR card to the barista to slip to her with her coffee. Genius! This pic was from our fourth date at the coffee shop we met at.
“Wink Wink Pass” - At a concert I was eyeing a guy in my row. He was looking back. I flashed him MY CARD (I know what you're thinking)... then asked the row to hand it down to him until it reached him. He messaged me in the app and the connection was made. What a fun way to get a message across in a LOUD venue!
